Club Aire (Artistry In Rollerskating for Everyone) is about having fun on rollerskates! Want to jam, waltz, play, exercise? We have 5 passionate instructors (Skaters In Black, or SIB) to help you get over your nervousness, and have fun on rollerskates your own way by giving you personalized lessons and practice time. All Club Aire members freely help each other improve their skills. From kids to adults, from "wall-huggers" to advanced skaters, Club Aire is an all-volunteer group of individuals and families that love the fun, freedom, and friendship of rollerskating. Club Aire is a non-competitive club to foster interest in rollerskating by inspiring people of all ages to make rollerskating a lifetime passion. The primary goal of Club Aire is to help skaters increase their fun on rollerskates by teaching simple, easy-to-learn skating techniques, blended with artistic interpretation.
Club Aire currently skates at open or private sessions, schools, expos, sports shows, and parades in the Chicago and Twin Cities areas. The goal is to inspire people to skate and have fun doing it! At these sessions, people observe Club Aire members applying the principles of smooth skating, with the goal of inspiring them to learn these principles themselves. During these sessions, Club Aire instructors and members gladly then help skaters as requested. |
